When You Do What You Love....It's Not Work

Creations by Jimmy’s Daughter, LLC was created out of the encouragement and gentle push from my beautiful daughter and some sister-friends. I love creating wreaths and made them years ago for gifts and even sold a few, but stopped because I became overwhelmingly busy raising boy/girl twins. When the twins went to college, I needed to do something to fill that void, so it was the perfect time to jump back in. So while I only used to make them for Christmas, I thought I would try my hand at other seasons too, and LOVE it. I still work full-time, but THIS is my peace.

So how did I come up with the name for my business?

My Dad (Jimmy) was larger than life to me. He was a World War II Vet and a pretty quiet man, unless he had an audience to listen to him talk about his favorite topic....Black History. He loved his family and was the best example of what an honorable man should be...and yes, I am his Babygirl. The Lord blessed me to have him for 40 plus years until his passing at age 93, several years ago. I have named my business to honor his memory, and hope he is smiling down from heaven and proud of his little girl. But we can't forget my 91 year-old Mom, who is one of my biggest supporters and my “silent-partner”....as she likes to call herself!

My goal is to make unique creations for you to enjoy in your home or wherever you need some joy, so there are rarely two alike. They may be similar, but there is always something a little different to make them uniquely yours, but no matter what... they are all filled with love from my heart!
